He left medical school to focus on poetry and cinema in 2000. Between 2003 and 2007, he finished his Masters Degrees on \u201cFilm Directing\u201d in Tehran Art University-Iran and at the same time \u201cNew Turkish Literature\u201d at Van Yuzuncuyil University-Turkey. He did 4 short films in Iran, which were awarded at international film festivals. With his 35mm short film \u2018Dreams of Lost Time, he\u2019s become closer to find his own cinematographic expression and language.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In 2008, with a scholarship, he attended to the New York Film Academy. Faysal directed 4 short films; three of them were shot in 16mm. He has been selected for Talent Campus of Sarajevo Film Festival at 2009<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He finished filming his first feature film \u2018Crossroads\u2019 in 2013, Turkey and Bosnia &amp;Herzegovina got 13 awards from film festivals. He did documentary series for Al Jazire and Trt Documentry channel. Published book on poetry and cinema.
