Headed by the Turkish director Atalay Ta\u015fdiken, other members of this year\u2019s jury are Georgian director, scriptwriter, producer Giorge Ovashvili, Kosovan director Isa Qosja, Turkish actor Serdar Or\u00e7in and Turkish academician Nazl\u0131 Eda Noyan.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The applications continue for the 4th<\/sup> International Red Crescent Amity Short Film Festival<\/strong>, which the Balkon Film<\/strong> has organized since its first year with the support of the Turkish Republic Culture and Tourism Ministry and General Directorate of Cinema<\/strong>. Held under the roof of the Turkish Red Crescent <\/strong>this year between December 1-5, 2021<\/strong>, in memory of Hac\u0131 Bekta\u015f-\u0131 Veli,<\/strong> the jury members of the festival competition have been announced. The jury presidency, carried out by Y\u00fcksel Aksu<\/strong>, Reis \u00c7elik<\/strong>, and Vedat \u00d6zdemir<\/strong> in previous years, will be fulfilled by Atalay Ta\u015fdiken<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Chaired by the award winning director of films such as Mommo: My Sister, Meryem, Search Engine, Snow Red, Dust and Ashes\u2014A Ne\u015fet Erta\u015f Documentary, Atalay Ta\u015fdiken<\/strong>, the other jury members of the festival are: Georgian director Giorge Ovashvili<\/strong>, who, after two successful short films, premiered his award-winning first feature film \u201cThe Other Bank\u201d in the 2009 Berlin Film Festival Generations and won the 2014 Karlovy Vary International Film Festival Cristal Globe award with his second feature \u201cCorn Island\u201d that was short listed at the 2015 Academy Awards; re-owned Kosovan director Isa Qosja<\/strong>, who made a name for himself with his first film \u201cThree Windows and A Hanging,\u201d which was selected as the Kosovan Best Foreign Language Film in 2014 Academy Awards; in demand Turkish actor Serdar Or\u00e7in<\/strong> of the new-era Turkish films that\u00a0 screened festivals such Cannes, Montreal BFI London and the recipient of the Best Male Actor award in the 27th<\/sup> International Adana Golden Boll Film Festival for this role in \u201cWalnut Tree;\u201d and a great contributor of Turkish animation sector Professor<\/strong> Eda Nazl\u0131 Noyan<\/strong>, who is the Founding President of the Bah\u00e7e\u015fehir University Cartoon and Animation Department.<\/p>\n

Last Calls to Apply!<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Main Competition application process continues for directly or indirectly friendship-themed English subtitled fiction, animation, and experimental<\/strong> films, produced after or on January 1, 2019<\/strong>, not exceeding 20 minutes, including credits<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In addition, films in different formats such as animation, experimental, and video art, not exceeding 30 minutes, <\/strong>can apply to the festival’s non-competition sections. Those productions will be evaluated for either the Forty Years of Gratitude, Panorama, or Human Perspective<\/strong> sections.<\/p>\n

Last year, nearly 100,000 Turkish Lira worth of cash prizes were awarded. In addition, numerous cash prizes and surprise technical support awards will be given to support short films and their directors this year.<\/p>\n

The applications are accepted through the festival website and international short film platforms Filmfreeway and Festhome<\/strong> until<\/strong> October 1, 2021. <\/strong>The 4th<\/sup> International Red Crescent Amity Short Film Festival will reflect the friendship of all short filmmakers on the big screen.<\/p>\n

Hac\u0131 Bekta\u015f-\u0131 Veli \u00e8 stato un mistico che ha diffuso amore e amicizia superando ogni confine. Con il suo pensiero, diffuso in tutto il mondo, ha lasciato una grande eredit\u00e0 che coinvolge tutte le emozioni umane. Tale eredit\u00e0 ci ricorda che \u00e8 possibile convivere pacificamente chiunque noi siamo, e che dobbiamo celebrare la generosit\u00e0 nell’amore, il rispetto per la natura e per gli esseri viventi e la solidariet\u00e0. Quest’anno, in occasione dell\u2019International Amity Short Film Festival, avremo l’onore di far incontrare l’antica filosofia di questo grande maestro con l’arte del cinema.<\/p>\n

Per intraprendere un cammino verso i meandri pi\u00f9 profondi dello spirito umano, ci vuole un amico. E per non perdere la speranza e l\u2019aiuto di un amico, continueremo insieme su questo percorso attraverso le parole e le opere dei maestri. La proclamazione di quest\u2019anno come l\u2019anno di Hac\u0131 Bekta\u015f-\u0131 Veli da parte dell\u2019UNESCO ci offre una grande occasione. In questo modo potremo continuare a parlare e a condividere i valori dell\u2019amore e dell\u2019amicizia nel nostro e negli altri paesi. Ci impegneremo affinch\u00e9 ci\u00f2 che \u00e8 solo teoria diventi pratica.<\/p>\n

\u201cL\u2019UMANIT\u00c0\u201d \u00c8 LA SPERANZA DEL MONDO!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Viviamo in una delle epoche pi\u00f9 difficili per l’umanit\u00e0. Oggi la parola \u201cumano\u201d \u00e8 diventata un concetto ambiguo che ritroviamo ovunque, ma che si \u00e8 allontanato dalla realt\u00e0. E pensare che soltanto attraverso la nostra umanit\u00e0 potremo tenere in vita i valori di cui la nostra specie ha cos\u00ec bisogno. I pensieri sono importanti, tuttavia sono le azioni che contano. Sono le azioni a riflettere i nostri sentimenti e le nostre idee.<\/p>\n

Nella sezione \u201cUmanit\u00e0\u201d, inaugurata proprio per cogliere questa visione all\u2019interno dell\u2019universo multidimensionale del cinema, vogliamo celebrare i concetti di aiuto, amore, solidariet\u00e0 e amicizia, i soli in grado di guarire i nostri cuori induriti.<\/p>\n

L\u2019umanit\u00e0 ci fa ritrovare noi stessi e ci avvicina all\u2019universo e a tutte le creature. Correre in soccorso di chi ha bisogno \u00e8 il nostro istinto umano pi\u00f9 elementare. Per questo dobbiamo ascoltare la nostra voce interiore e provare a prenderci cura delle ferite, a tendere la mano a chi ne ha bisogno, a essere voce di chi non ha voce e a offrirci in aiuto. Siamo consapevoli di quanto sia importante condividere questo tema fondamentale nel campo del cinema.<\/p>\n

Occorre sottolineare la vitale importanza per la nostra epoca della categoria \u201cUmanit\u00e0\u201d, la nuova sezione del festival. Per questo motivo un film selezionato dalla direzione del festival ricever\u00e0 un premio speciale. Il \u201cPremio Speciale Umanit\u00e0\u201d sar\u00e0 assegnato ogni anno a nome di una di quelle grandi persone che, nella storia mondiale dell\u2019assistenza e dell\u2019aiuto, siano state in grado di mostrare su scala universale la bont\u00e0.<\/p>\n

Nella quarta edizione del festival, oltre che portare avanti metafisicamente la filosofia dell\u2019amicizia di Hac\u0131 Bekta\u015f-\u0131 Veli, diffusa in tutto il mondo a partire dall\u2019Anatolia, si intende anche enfatizzare il contributo dell\u2019aiuto umanitario nel migliorare le condizioni fisiche attraverso la sezione Umanit\u00e0. In questo modo continueremo a celebrare e a ricordare il concetto di amicizia in ogni suo aspetto attraverso l\u2019arte cinematografica.<\/p>\n

Continuano le candidature per il 4\u00b0 Red Crescent International Amity Short Film Festival<\/strong><\/p>\n

Potranno partecipare alla 4. Edizione del Red Crescent International Amity Film Festival, che si terr\u00e0 dal 1 al 5 dicembre, tutti i film che trattano direttamente o indirettamente il tema dell\u2019amicizia realizzati successivamente al 1 gennaio 2019<\/strong>, di genere fiction, animazione e sperimentale<\/strong>, con sottotitoli in inglese e della durata non superiore ai 20 minuti, inclusi i titoli di coda<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Sezioni del festival <\/strong><\/p>\n

Potranno partecipare alle sezioni fuori concorso del festival tutte le produzioni di diverso formato, quali documentario, animazione, sperimentale e video-art, di durata non superiore ai 30 minuti<\/strong> e senza limiti sull\u2019anno di realizzazione.<\/p>\n

Nella categoria Quarant\u2019anni di ricordi<\/strong>, saranno valutati i cortometraggi di ogni genere che trattino direttamente o indirettamente il concetto di amicizia.<\/p>\n

Alla sezione <\/strong>Panorama<\/strong> prenderanno parte film gi\u00e0 premiati e senza alcun limite di tema, proiettati in anteprima in Turchia.<\/p>\n

La categoria<\/strong> \u201cUmanit\u00e0\u201d <\/strong>entrer\u00e0 a far parte del festival per la prima volta quest\u2019anno. Il tema speciale della sezione riguarda i pericoli che minacciano l\u2019essere umano, quali la guerra, le catastrofi naturali e le epidemie e la coscienza umana che li combatte.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I film partecipanti al festival saranno determinati dal lavoro, dalle valutazioni e dai suggerimenti della giuria preliminare.<\/p>\n
