Igor Ivanov Izi is an award-winning director from Skopje with documentary, short, and feature films to his credit. His short film “Bugs” won the Golden Leopard at the 59th Locarno Film Festival and was nominated for the Golden Bear at the 54th Berlinale. His feature film “Upsides Down” premiered at the 42nd Karlovy Vary Film Festival, and “The Piano Room,” with an international cast and original music score by the Canadian artist Chilly Gonzalez enjoyed sold-out screenings at many festivals. His latest film, “Only Human,” shows six faces and six phases in cleverly–connected darkly comic episodes as desperate characters meet unwittingly in a modern metropolis in the search for eternal love. It premiered at the 52nd Goa Film Festival and was screened and awarded at festivals worldwide.
