He started his theatre career at Mehmet Bayazıd High School. He studied theatre at Müjdat Gezen Art Center and graduated in 1999. He worked as stage actor in various theatres along the Istanbul City Theatres. Since 2000, he appeared on several movies in new Turkish films era. He was the actor in films which won various awards in Cannes, Montreal, BFI London. He appears in TV series ve films. He is a board member of Actors Union. He won several awards as movie and stage actor from International Adana Golden Ball Film Festival, “Best Actor” for his performance in Silenced Tree; Ankara International Film Festival, “Best Actor” for Long Time Ago; 23. Sadri Alışık Cinema and Theatre Awards, “Best Actor” for Debt.
